Scholarship

Our scholarship initiative has a clear purpose: to provide support to students who have been affected by the tragic consequences of gun violence. This scholarship extends a supportive hand to these students by offering financial relief for their educational and mental health journeys. This relief encompasses a range of needs, including tuition payments, essential books, and other school-related necessities. We are committed to ensuring that they have access to critical mental health services to help them recover and heal from the traumatic experiences they've endured. 

Since the inception of our scholarship program, we have proudly granted a total of $30,000 in scholarships to thirty exceptional individuals. Our scholarship program is steadfast in its mission to focus on students who have been impacted by the trials and tragedies of gun violence, and we remain dedicated to providing meaningful support to them. If you are a student who has overcome a tragedy related to gun violence, please know that you are not alone. Our organization stands with survivors and offers yearly scholarship opportunities to support their journeys. In July 2024, we proudly announced our newest recipients, and we remain committed to awarding more scholarships in the years ahead. From Michigan to Kalamazoo to Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisiana, Arizona, and D.C., these changemakers are survivors who are collectively changing the world. Their stories are marked by resilience and a shared commitment to addressing the impact of gun violence upon experiencing it in their own lives. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, they are amplifying their voices and making strides toward a safer future. In the years following the tragedy, I couldn’t find a treatment to cope with the trauma. Everyone copes with their trauma differently, and for me, I needed medication. I wanted to pursue pharmacy because I never want people to feel like they don’t have any more options to help themselves. No one deserves to live in pain after going through tragedy.
